Chiswick House Gardens
Restoration & Development Project Manager (2002-2007). Responsible for a celebrated Grade 1 registered historic landscape and public park in West London, and for putting together a major Heritage Lottery Fund bid for its restoration, working in partnership with English Heritage. Employed by the Local Authority, owners of the site. Work included development of Restoration and Management Plans, landscape conservation and restoration, conservation of historic buildings and statuary, public and political engagement, consultation, selection and briefing of consultants including the architects for the new park cafe, historical research, talks and tours, setting up a programme for garden volunteers, and general site management.
